Competing against games from 32 other countries, Currais em Chamas was ranked among the top 80 indie games in the world in the screenplay category, selected by DEVGAMM — Lisbon, Portugal.
Selected to participate in GDC (Game Developers Conference) 2025 through the GDC Diversity Scholarship program, promoted by Abragames' Diversity Council in partnership with Latam VGF.
Invited by the Ministry of Culture (MinC) to join the Brazilian delegation of electronic game producers at MICBR 2025 — the Brazilian Creative Industries Market.
Who we are
PGCS Tecnologia is an electronic games and technology studio based in Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil. Since 2011, it has developed games, digital experiences and research projects connecting technology, education and culture.
Much of the portfolio is built in partnership with public cultural and innovation policies — including cultural incentive laws, state and federal calls, and support from Sebrae — which brings the work close to themes such as heritage, accessibility and education.
The most recent chapter took the team to represent Brazil at international events such as GDC and to join the Brazilian delegation at MICBR, alongside Currais em Chamas being ranked among the world's best indie games by DEVGAMM.

Artist, researcher and educator working at the intersection of education, digital culture and technological innovation. PhD in Education, with additional training in visual arts and film, creating educational materials and cultural solutions.
Over 15 years of experience in software architecture, technical leadership and digital transformation, with a track record in national and international corporate environments, at the intersection of technology and business viability.
